Housing Assistance
For individuals of families trying to maintain their housing through a temporary crisis
- We may be able to assist families faced with foreclosure or eviction due to temporary involvment with family; direct assistance; strong planning and case management component.

For individuals of families who are homeless
- Emergency shelter for the homeless while searching for permanent housing. There must be enough income into the household to make the search reasonable.

- Assistance with the costs of moving into a new place for individuals and families with sufficient income to maintain the home once settled.



Food Assistance
For individuals of families who are homeless
Referrals to food shelves, food support programs, and senior Dining/Meals on wheels programs.

Garden Seed
A distribution of donated vegetable seeds and food preservation materials to promote food self-sufficiency. Seeds distributed through food shelves and extension office sites throughout the seven counties.

Education Support Services
Educational Support Services assists students beyond high school with a small portion of costs associated with books, tuition or supplies when enrolled in an accredited school.

Grant up to $500 reimbursement for costs not covered by other grants and loans.

Post Secondary Assistance for books, supplies, and tuition.

Must meet eligibility guidelines and be below 125% federal poverty level.



Tax Preparation
Lakes & Pines CAC is providing free tax preparation for low-income individuals and families.



Personal Budgeting
Counseling, information, and referral for familes trying to improve their ability to manage money.

Transportation Loan Program
Zero interest loan or grant of up to $500 to assist with vehicle repair or other transportation-related expenses. Loan must be paid back in monthly installments. Applicants must be working or attending a post-secondary school or looking for work. Households gross income must be under 200% of federal poverty level.
